This quote by Hermann Hesse is a tip to us that sometimes we can be too focused on what we are looking for that we can't see what is right in front of us. It is recommending that by looking for too much, we can become overwhelmed and not able to find what we are trying to find. It is a suggestion to us to take a step back and take a look at the bigger picture. We need to take a minute to appreciate what we have and to be conscious of our surroundings. We must also know our own restrictions and be open to brand-new possibilities. By doing this, we can find the responses we are searching for and be content with what we have.
