This quote by Brody Armstrong highlights the idea that impressions are not always precise representations of a person. When we meet someone for the very first time, we are just seeing a small peek of who they are. It's like reading the very first page of a book - it might offer us a general idea of what the story is about, however it doesn't reveal the whole plot. Similarly, when we fulfill somebody, we may make assumptions based on their look or initial interactions, but we can not truly understand them up until we are familiar with them better. This quote reminds us to not evaluate somebody based upon first impressions and to provide a chance to show us who they truly are.
