Plot

Last Showdown
Saving themselves by signaling a passing British Navy ship, Sparrow is apprehended, while Elizabeth requests help from Commodore James Norrington (Jack Davenport) to save Turner from Barbossa. Sparrow gets away from jail and helps them in rescuing Turner and returning the last piece of gold, using Turner's blood to break menstruation. No longer immortal, Barbossa is killed by Jack.

Final Escape
In the final series, Sparrow's arrest order is supported by Commodore Norrington, in spite of the significant function he played in the rescue operation. At the gallows, Elizabeth intervenes, revealing her love for Turner, not Norrington. In the ensuing turmoil, Sparrow gets away once again, diving into the sea, and is retrieved by the repaired Black Pearl, declaring Turner and Elizabeth as pals, and cruising toward brand-new experiences.
