This quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson speaks to the idea that success in capitalism is an outcome of doing good. He is recommending that when people act in an ethical and ethical way, they will be rewarded with success. This remains in contrast to the concept that success in industrialism is only attained through selfishness and greed.
