Jim Otto was an expert American football gamer who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, from 1960 to 1974. He was a center for the Oakland Raiders and was picked to the Pro Bowl twelve times. He was also a member of the American Football League (AFL) All-Time Team. In 1967, Otto played in the Super Bowl against the Green Bay Packers. This was the first Super Bowl ever played and the Packers won the game by a rating of 35-10. Otto became part of a Raiders group that was considered to be among the very best in the AFL at the time. Despite the loss, Otto and the Raiders set up a great fight versus the Packers, who were the protecting NFL champs. Otto's efficiency in the Super Bowl was a testimony to his skill and decision as a player. His tradition as one of the greatest centers in NFL history is still remembered today.
