This quote by Mitch Daniels speaks to the importance of producing a society where everybody has a level playing field to prosper. He is stressing the need to focus on assisting those who are less fortunate, rather than just allowing those with terrific wealth to continue to build up more. He is suggesting that we must be aiming to create a society where everybody has the exact same opportunity to generate income, despite their existing financial situation. This might be done through offering access to education, task training, and other resources that can assist individuals to increase their earning capacity. By doing this, we can create a more equitable society where everybody has the exact same chance to be successful.
