Nikola Tesla is recommending that humans are made up of both virtues and failings, simply as force and matter are inseparable. He believes that these two elements comprise the essence of an individual and if they were to separate, the individual would cease to exist. To put it simply, one can not exist without the other, and it is very important to accept both elements of oneself to truly understand one's nature.
