Mark Twain's quote is a commentary on the human condition. He is suggesting that there are 2 kinds of individuals worldwide: those who really do things and those who simply speak about doing things. The first group, those who in fact accomplish things, is much smaller than the 2nd group, those who simply discuss doing things. Twain is suggesting that it is a lot easier to discuss doing something than it is to in fact do it. He is likewise suggesting that those who actually do things are more exceptional than those who merely discuss doing things. His quote is a suggestion to all of us to focus on taking action instead of simply talking about it. It is a suggestion to aim to be part of the first group, the group of individuals who in fact accomplish things.
