The inhabitants of the British Isles have lost their battle against the onslaught of disease, as the deadly rage virus has killed every citizen there. Six months later, a group of Americans dare to set foot on the isles, convinced the danger has come and gone. Introduction
"28 Weeks Later", directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, is a 2007 British post-apocalyptic horror movie, and a follow up to the 2002 movie "28 Days Later". The film is set after an outbreak of a highly infectious infection that turns people into blood-thirsty beasts. Plot
The film opens 28 weeks after the initial outbreak. Don, one of the main characters, is revealed frantically escaping from infected opponents at the start. He and his sis manage to get away the city with the aid of a considerate sniper, Doyle, who sacrifices his life for them. The film ends with Tammy and Andy landing in France, recommending a troubling spread of the virus.
