Introduction
"3022" is a 2019 sci-fi film directed by John Suits. The motion picture, including Omar Epps, Kate Walsh, Miranda Cosgrove, and Angus Macfadyen, informs the story of 4 astronauts who battle with the psychological tension of being stuck in space when they discover that the Earth has been decimated. Filled with underlying styles of isolation, anguish, survival, and hope, the movie offers an interesting portrayal of humanity's reaction to an international disaster.

Plot
The film focuses on a team of four astronauts: John Laine (Omar Epps), Jackie Miller (Kate Walsh), Lisa Brown (Miranda Cosgrove), and Richard Valin (Angus Macfadyen) who start a 10-year area objective aboard Pangea, a space station. Their primary purpose is to assess the viability of off-world colonization. However, simply four-and-a-half years into their mission, they awaken from hyper-sleep to witness a cosmic disaster-- the Earth has been ruined.

The crew faces a severe mental breakdown but tries to hold onto sanity. Unfortunately, Richard catches despair and ends his own life, leaving the others to face the loss and the horrifying revelation of the end of the world.

The Arrival
In the middle of this disarray, a second spaceship arrives, christened Europa, initially thought to be a prospective rescue team. The crew onboard Europa, Captain Price, and his subordinates Harper and Stone, share the disastrous news that the Earth's destruction resulted from a series of blackouts and global chaos. Rather of a rescue mission, the Europa works as a lifeboat bring the last remaining people from Earth.

Conflict and Resolution
Dispute emerges when it becomes evident that the limited resources on Pangea can not sustain the new arrivals along with the initial crew. Stress escalate when Captain Price orders his team members to seize control of Pangea and remove the initial team. Nevertheless, John manages to outsmart the recently arrived group, leading to Harper and Price's deaths and leaving just Stone alive.

John and Jackie choose to spare Stone, and despite the bleak scenarios, they aim to preserve mankind and hope. The staying survivors create a makeshift utopia on Pangea and continue to reside on, indicating a beacon of hope and strength.

Conclusion
"3022" explores the extreme conditions that expose underlying humanity, highlighting the significance of hope in the face of despair. A plain depiction of human resist seclusion and survival, the film's strength lies in its sound plot, the decent narrative of occasions, and the psychological depth of the characters in spite of the setting of an apocalypse. Whilst the end of the world theme is not brand-new in the realm of science fiction, "3022" offers a fresh point of view through its focus on the mental aspects of survival.
