Film Overview
"Art of the Dead" is an American scary movie that was released in 2019. The Storyline
The film starts with Douglas Winter, a wealthy client, purchasing 7 paintings from an enigmatic art gallery. Unbeknownst to him, a hellish cult had bought these specially commissioned artworks, one for each of the 7 fatal sins, to host caught demonic spirits. After Winter's unusual death, his treasured collection is bought by the wealthy and unwary Wilson household.

As soon as inside the Wilson household estate, the paintings begin exhibiting their perverse influence. Each of its seven family members starts to display the behavior represented by the sin-themed art work they are closest to. Dylan, the family's eldest son, discovers himself captured by the depiction of Greed. Gina, the mom, is seduced by Lust, and so on.

Releasing Chaos
The ominous impact of the paintings presses everybody to harmful extremes. Relationships within the family become strained, and darkness takes place, resulting in a waterfall of torture and disaster. The relative, now puppets manipulated by the art work, act out their respective sins and descend into insanity and mayhem. Their souls are at the mercy of the fatal sins, and the horror escalates.

Efforts Towards Salvation
Louis, a religious and astute art critic, is introduced into the story. After unearthing the secret of the paintings, he joins forces with Dylan's girlfriend, Kim, in a desperate bid to conserve the family. Louis explains the dubious history of the paintings and the animating demons within them. They devise a technique to fight the satanic forces, which includes facing and withstanding the sin that each painting embodies.

The Climax
The battle for the Wilsons' souls proves to be gruesome and fatal, with a number of relative not enduring the ominous sins they were combating against. The scary climax sees Kim and Louis trying to damage the demonic art work in a race against time.

Conclusion
"Art of the Dead" explores the odd realms of art, sin, and demonic forces. It represents the dramatic and scary influences dark forces can apply over humans when they catch their inner vices.
