Introduction
"Batman & Robin" is a 1997 superhero motion picture directed by Joel Schumacher. The movie, 4th in the preliminary Batman movie series, stars George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman, Chris O'Donnell and Alicia Silverstone. While the film weaves a story of heroism, villainy, and the essence of household, it substantially underperformed at package office and was extensively slammed for its lighter tone and use of 'bat-nipples'.

The Story
The narrative focuses on Batman (George Clooney) and his sidekick Robin (Chris O'Donnell), who are confronted with new hazards to Gotham City. The icy villain Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) has the power to freeze anything he touches, planning to plunge the city into a brand-new ice age unless his demands are satisfied. He plans to use this power to conserve his spouse, Nora, from a terminal disease by freezing her up until a cure can be discovered. New Introductions
Halfway through the film, Alfred, Batman's relied on butler, presents his niece Barbara (Alicia Silverstone). She ultimately finds the secret identities of Batman and Robin and uses up the mantle of Batgirl with a desire to fight together with them.

Dispute and Resolution
Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy form a not likely alliance, planning to freeze the city with a telescope turned freezing cannon. Their shrewd strategy deepens a growing rift in between Batman and Robin, who has fallen under Poison Ivy's manipulative influence, a subplot which adds to the film's drama.

Later on, Batman, Robin, and Batgirl find Poison Ivy's lair and manage to leave a dangerous circumstance with the aid of a rubber-lipped Robin.
