Foodimals Discoveries
On reaching, they find that Swallow Falls is now a lively, colorful ecosystem populated by food-animal hybrids like Shrimpanzees, Mosquitoasts, Hippotatomuses, and Watermelophants. At first horrified, the group quickly grow to like the Foodimals and find not all the food-beasts are dangerous. Sam also stumbles upon a child strawberry which she called Barry, who later plays an important part in the story.

Flint later on finds that his cherished idol Chester V has ulterior intentions. Chester prepares to exploit the FLDSMDFR and its food-animal developments for his gains and control mankind's food supply. Chester techniques Flint into catching the Foodimals, making Flint think that the Foodimals are dangerous and require to be damaged for humanity's sake.

The Final Showdown
The movie reaches its pinnacle when Flint recognizes Chester V's ominous strategy. The climax happens in the Live Corp's head office, where Chester V attempts to encourage Flint to betray his good friends and his home for popularity and success.
