Title: Cooties
"Cooties" is a 2014 American horror comedy movie directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion. The film's movie script was composed by Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan. The movie features a stellar ensemble cast consisting of Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBrayer, Leigh Whannell, Nasim Pedrad, and Jorge Garcia.

Plot Summary
The plot of "Cooties" is a comical twist on the timeless zombie outbreak narrative set in a common American grade school. The film opens with an intro to Clint (Elijah Wood), a failed author who has actually gone back to his hometown in Illinois. He soon uses up work as a replacement teacher at his old primary school.

The plot thickens when a mystical virus stricken chicken nugget infects a little girl named Shelly when she eats the nugget as her school lunch. The bite she receives from the contaminated nugget transforms her into a ravenous, violent, flesh-eating mini-zombie who spreads the infection throughout the school, affecting only those who haven't hit adolescence.

Infection Spread
The kids develop into zombies with a current batch of infected chicken nuggets taken in as school lunch, and with recess close by, the infection spreads with every bite. The adult personnel, including Clint, Wade (Rainn Wilson), Lucy (Alison Pill), Doug (Leigh Whannell), Tracy (Jack McBrayer), and Rebekkah (Nasim Pedrad), manage to prevent getting infected.

Survival of The Teachers
What ensues is a fight for survival as the teachers are besieged by the growing crowd of contaminated children. The teachers need to rely on their wit and survival impulses to withstand the onslaught. An unique twist to the typical zombie story, this film represents the virus-transmitting zombies as children and the survivors as grade school instructors.

The Escape
The crucial to leave comes alive when the science teacher, Doug figures out that the virus targets only pre-pubescent and ceases after teenage years. The group heads towards the school's surrounding play ground, erupting chaos to distract students. Clint makes it to his truck and successfully brings a 2nd lorry to assist the others leave.

Conclusion
"Cooties" ends on a cliffhanger note with the instructors escaping the school, only to find that the infection has spread out outside the school, incorporating the town. The scene fades into a non-ending circumstance, leaving the audience speculating about the surviving characters' fate.

Earning a track record for its special blend of horror and comedy, "Cooties" redefines the zombie apocalypse genre with its unconventional property and gifted cast. Drawing humor from the absurdity of its setting and the eccentricity of its characters, the film deals with fear of contagion and is a metaphorical exaggeration of the battles and obstacles of primary school mentor.
