Artistic Impressions
"Disco Pigs" is a film greatly marked by fantastic performances and deeply charged psychological undercurrents. Murphy's portrayal of the deeply disrupted yet profoundly human Pig was extensively acclaimed. The closed language they speak is a strange mix of English, Irish, baby talk, and developed words which adds to the overall originality of this intense drama.

Overall
The movie is a terrible coming-of-age tale however contrasted with spunky energy and colors. "Disco Pigs" is as much about the loss of innocence and the perils of maturing as it is about the darker instincts that emerge when fixation and possession intersect. It certainly provides an unnerving yet captivating expedition of friendship, identity, and compulsive love.
