Plot Summary"Ella Enchanted" is a modern-day Cinderella story set in a fantastical kingdom that combines elements of fairy tales with modern perceptiveness. When Ella of Frell (Anne Hathaway) was born, her fairy godmother, Lucinda (Vivica A. Fox), bestows on her a suspicious "present" of obedience. Ella needs to follow any direct command, no matter what it is. This shows to be more of a curse than a blessing, permitting others to make the most of her.
