Movie Overview
"Farming" is a 2018 British movie written and directed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The movie is a biographical drama centered on Adewale's own life and tells the story of a young Nigerian young boy, Enitan, who matures in the middle of racial tension in the UK of the 1970s and 80s.

Plot Summary
The film begins with a practice that was common amongst Nigerian immigrants in the UK, termed 'farming.' Nigerian moms and dads, striving to settle in the UK, would promote their kids out with white working-class families, planning to gather them later on. Enitan, the movie's lead character, is farmed out to Ingrid and Jack, who have an authoritarian method to parenting and appear cold to young Enitan.

As Enitan gets older, he finds himself in an id, caught in between his Nigerian roots and his British upbringing, and becomes a victim of extreme racial discrimination.
