George Banks is an ordinary, middle-class man whose 22 year-old daughter Annie has decided to marry a man from an upper-class family, but George can't think of what life would be like without his daughter. His wife tries to make him happy for Annie, but when the wedding takes place at their home and a foreign wedding planner takes over the ceremony, he becomes slightly insane.

The Banks family was initially preparing for a small, reasonable wedding event for Annie, but Franck turns it into a grand, elegant affair. Despite George's demonstrations about the intensifying costs and extravagance, the wedding event plans continue.

The Tension
George's problem with concerning terms with Annie's their adult years and his stress and anxiety about the high-budget wedding reach a boiling point when he ends up in prison the night before the wedding for triggering a scene at the grocery store over hotdog buns. However, this experience assists him pertain to terms with his feelings and accept the scenario.

The Wedding
Regardless of all the tension and drama, the big day gets here. George and Annie share an emotional moment prior to the wedding event, where they assess her childhood and their relationship. In the end, George guides his daughter down the aisle, signifying his acceptance of her adulthood and her brand-new life with Bryan.
