His daddy's spiritual passion leads him to abduct those he thinks are 'satanic forces' and kill them with an axe named 'Otis'. Fenton does not share his dad's conviction and is frightened by his deeds, contrary to Adam who thinks their father.

Stress and Conflict
As Fenton grows progressively uncomfortable with his daddy's godly objective, tension integrates in the family. Their dad thinks that Fenton himself has now become a devil and tries to 'exorcise him in a cooling, makeshift cellar. In the climax, Fenton, in a plot twist, reveals himself to be the "God's Hand" killer rather of his sibling Adam. The shocking discovery is dovetailed by another surprise, that Special Agent Doyle himself was on Adam's list of "demons".
