A Skype call between a husband and wife on Halloween night takes a disturbingly dark turn...

Introduction
"Happy Halloween" is a 2014 horror-comedy movie directed by the Rasmussen bros, Brett and Drew, which puts an initial twist to the stereotypical Halloween scary story. It follows the adventure of a costume shop employee, Max, who unsuspectingly releases hell among innocent Halloween party-goers by offering cursed outfits.

Plot
Max, the film's primary character, operates at a Halloween costume shop. He all of a sudden gets a delivery of costumes from an unidentified source. Max, delighted about the remarkably realistic quality of these costumes, decides to offer them in the store thinking that they would be a hit for the upcoming Halloween night.

On Halloween night, those who purchased and used the outfits begin to literally transform into their outfit characters, each with unique monstrous versions such as witches, zombies, werewolves, and vampires. Unknowingly, Max has dispersed cursed Halloween costumes, which the users can not get rid of and are fated to end up being that beast permanently when the night ends.

Conflict
When Max gradually realizes the chaos he has actually unintentionally let loose on town, he teams up with his high school crush, Jill, to reverse the terrifying impacts. Jill, who had actually purchased a zombie costume for her younger sibling, signs up with Max in his mission to conserve her bro from turning into a real zombie.

Resolution
Max and Jill rapidly find that the only method to reverse menstruation and conserve their town is by locating the mystical shipment's origin. They discover the century-old curse of a scorned witch who was burned at the stake and is now looking for vengeance by turning everyone into monsters every Halloween. They handle to find her tomb and lift menstruation, returning everyone to their human form, including Jill's little sibling, just as dawn breaks.

Reception
"Happy Halloween" handles to strike a balance in between scary and funny, providing a special and fresh viewpoint to a traditional Halloween tale. Its blending of humor and horror provides audiences with equivalent parts of laughter and thriller. Although the movie primarily deals with a younger market, it still manages to amuse a wider audience variety with its excellent special results, engaging storytelling, and well-delivered punchlines.
