Film Synopsis
"Homefront" is an action-filled American criminal offense thriller film that was launched in 2013. The movie is based upon Chuck Logan's novel of the exact same title, with the screenplay written by action star Sylvester Stallone. The motion picture features Jason Statham in the lead function and is directed by Gary Fleder.

Plot
Jason Statham depicts the character of Phil Broker, an undercover DEA agent who has recently retired after a successful drug bust in a bicycle rider gang. Following the operation, Broker transfers to a little, peaceful town in Louisiana with his 10-year-old child Maddy (Izabela Vidovic), aiming to start a new life, far from the dangers of his previous kind of work.

Conflict Ignites
The peace Broker hoped for is short-term as Maddy protects herself from a bully at her school, who happens to be the son of a meth-addict woman, Cassie (Kate Bosworth). Looking for retaliation, Cassie draws her sibling, Gator Bodine (James Franco), a well-known regional meth manufacturer into the conflict. Gator decides to daunt and frighten Broker by burglarizing his home.

Escalation and Revelation
While nosing around Broker's home, Gator stumbles upon a case file from Broker's DEA days and learns about his undercover past. Realizing Broker might be a potential danger to his unlawful business, Gator prepares to eliminate him. To do this, he partners with a biker gang boss (Frank Grillo), whose son was eliminated by Broker during the bust.

Climax
As Gator and his accomplices escalate their dangers, they target Maddy, which draws Broker back into his past world of violence. Broker demonstrates his old skills, successfully taking apart Gator's team one by one in a series of action-packed scenes. Concurrently, he must defend his house and secure his child from this rising risk.

Conclusion
In the end, Broker successfully removes Gator and his gang, thwarting their attempts to damage him and his child. The motion picture concludes with Broker solving to protect Maddy from his violent past while still maintaining his live-and-let-live mindset, demonstrating the withstanding spirit of a protective dad.
