When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Synopsis:
"Knock Knock" is a mental thriller movie directed by Eli Roth, starring Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, and Ana de Armas. The movie showcases the story of a married man who's tempted and after that tortured by two young women. This cautionary tale exposes the effects of cheating and the hazardous manipulations of two apparently innocent visitors.

Plot:
Evan Webber (Keanu Reeves) is a happily wed designer, living a comfortable life with his spouse, Karen, and their 2 children. One weekend, while his family is away on a journey, he is disrupted by a knock at the door on a rainy night. He finds 2 young, soaked ladies called Bel and Genesis (Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas) standing at his doorstep, lost and trying to find help. Evan uses them shelter, heat, and tries to assist them find their way.

Downfall:
What at first appears to be a good Samaritan act quickly spirals. After they seductively persuade him into a sexual encounter, Evan wakes the following morning to a nightmare. He discovers his home has been vandalized and the women decline to leave. They expose they're underage, threatening Evan with potential charges of statutory rape due to the previous night's encounter.

Penalty:
Evan's life descends into chaos as Bel and Genesis continue to torment him mentally. They connect him up, damage his wife's art work, and reveal personal realities about his marriage. They mentally and physically abuse him, intending to penalize him for his infidelity, despite the fact that he was controlled into the circumstance.

Resolution:
Towards completion, the females stage a phony murder suicide before leaving, suggesting they've been doing this to family men around town. After their departure, Evan's spouse and children go back to discover their house in chaos and Evan unconscious and injured.

Styles:
"Knock Knock" explores themes of temptation, extramarital relations, control, and punishment. Regardless of being a thriller, the film generates an emotional reaction from the audience, especially for defenseless Evan, who fell under the trap set by the relatively innocent Bel and Genesis.

Reception:
The movie received combined reviews from critics. Some praised it for its captivating property and Reeves' efficiency, while others criticized it for its implausible plot and absence of depth. Something's for sure however, the movie will surely make audiences think twice before opening the door to strangers.
