Accompanied by her trusted tech-savvy assistant Bryce (Noah Taylor) and battling mentor/romantic interest Alex West (Daniel Craig), Lara starts this adventure, which takes her from Cambodia to Siberia.

The Climactic Race Against Time
Lara, despite a number of chances, handles to recuperate one piece of the Triangle in Cambodia, overcoming numerous traps and soldiers from the Illuminati. Upon her return, she finds her mansion ransacked, and her relied on butler Hilary injured. The Illuminati, however, trick Alex into leading them into the 2nd piece of the Triangle in Siberia.

In the climax, Lara faces off versus Powell and his group in an ancient tomb under the ice within a planetarium, where the Triangle can be triggered. Time misshapes and Lara sees her father, who guides her on how to ruin the Triangle and return time to regular. Lara manages to shoot the Triangle, interfering with Powell's strategy and freezing time right before the worlds vacate positioning. She then rewinds time to conserve Alex, killed by Powell while doing so, and gets away just as the tomb collapses.
