Film Overview
"Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" is a post-apocalyptic action movie that came out in 1985. Plot Summary
The movie opens with Max getting robbed of his camel-drawn wagon by a rouge pilot, Jedediah, and his kid. In Bartertown's power sector, Max finds out that MasterBlaster - a duo of a dwarf genius 'Master' and his huge protector 'Blaster' - hold authority as they control the town's energy supply produced from pig manure. Auntie desires Max to challenge the duo in Thunderdome, a gladiator-style arena where disagreements are settled by battle to death.

During his battle with Blaster, Max declines to provide the killing stroke upon finding Blaster's psychological disability. As an outcome, Max is banished to a desert, and Blaster gets executed. Nevertheless, a group of abandoned children, who see him as their prophecised rescuer, saves him.

Later Storyline
These kids are survivors of a crashed aircraft from a pre-apocalypse period. They think Max is 'Captain Walker,' who will fly them to 'Tomorrow-Morrow land.' Max, hesitant in the beginning, assumes a protective role and tries to keep them safe in this lethal world.

When a few kids start a hazardous journey to Bartertown to find civilization, Max follows them and helps complimentary Master from Auntie's custody. They all then escape Bartertown in a train car, with Auntie and her henchmen on their heels.

Climax and Conclusion
The climax takes place when Jedediah, the pilot from the film's start, agrees to assist Max and the gang in exchange for Bartertown's fuel materials. A high-speed chase takes place which ends with Max compromising himself so that the others can escape on an aircraft with Jedediah.

In the end, Auntie spares Max's life, respecting his durability, and go back to rebuild Bartertown. The survivors and kids fly to the ruins of Sydney and start once again, keeping humankind's flame alive through stories of Max, their roadway warrior.
