Introduction
"Midnight Sun" is a 2014 motion picture directed by Roger Spottiswoode. The 2 primary characters, Luke (played by Dakota Goyo), a teen with an enthusiasm for nature, and Muktuk, a half Inuit-half white local police officer (played by Goran Visnjic), come together to save Churchill, their village in Manitoba, Canada. The motion picture explores themes of friendship, survival and conservationism.

Plot
The movie starts by presenting Luke who makes an unexpected discovery of a polar bear who's given birth to cubs near his separated northern home. Luke forms an unusual relationship with one of the cubs, whom he names "Pee Wee". However, this relationship becomes questionable, with his protective mother and Muktuk, the regional law enforcement, viewing this as unsafe. Muktuk has his reason for concern, as polar bears are known to be among the most dangerous land mammals.

Luke, nevertheless, refuses to be dissuaded. He thinks that he's helping Pee Wee prepare to reenter the wild and endure. This insight comes from his extensive research study about polar bears, their practices and way of life. His careful observation of their behavior convinces him that Pee Wee needs human interaction and support.

Dispute
The situation intensifies when an oil company's ambitious agent named Big Mike (played by Matt Connors) attempts to make use of the town's resources. Big Mike and his group exploit a law that grants them the right to survey any part of the territory, no matter the prospective damage it might cause to the regional animals. This is disastrous for the polar-bear habitat, something Luke and Muktuk can not stand idly by and watch.

Resolution
The conflict intensifies quick, leading Luke on a harmful course. When Pee Wee's mother is recorded, everything goes awry. Eventually, a near-death encounter makes Luke recognize the real risk his furry buddy is dealing with. The climax is dramatic, with Luke and Muktuk teaming up and putting aside their distinctions to conserve their town and its natural environments.

Luke bravely presents a video to the courtroom loaded with townsfolk, showing the lethal repercussions of Big Mike's oil exploitation on the wildlife. By exposing the oil business's damaging activities to the citizens, they effectively sway the viewpoint of even the most hesitant townsfolk. In the end, the town decides to stand versus the oil corporation's survey and expedition strategies, therefore saving their home and the wildlife from damage.

Conclusion
Midnight Sun is an uplifting film about guts, relationship, and conservationism, set in the beautiful background of the Canadian wilderness. It is a true testimony to vibrant decision, a love for nature, and the value of unity. The film reminds audiences of the immediate need to secure our environments, a pushing concern in our real-world society today. Its strong environmental message resonated with audiences, making it an interesting and heart-warming household movie.
