Introduction

Plot Summary
The movie begins with high school sophomore, Donna Keppel, who returns home to find her family completely killed by her former instructor, Richard Fenton. On this day, Richard, persuaded that they are a delighted couple, murders Donna's family when they oppose his deceptions. 3 Years Later
Quick forward to three years later, Donna, although still on prescription medication and undergoing therapy, heads to her prom. Unbeknownst to Donna and her buddies, Richard Fenton had actually killed a guard and got away the psychiatric healthcare facility. He travels to Donna's school with the specific intent of lastly proclaiming his love for her at the prom.

The Prom Night
The night starts well with Donna, her boyfriend Bobby, and buddies Lisa and Claire heading to prom at a local hotel. However, unbeknownst to everyone, Fenton stealthily stalks Donna at the hotel, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Fenton handles to evade the hotel security and a law enforcement officer sent to keep an eye on Donna.

The Discovery
Lisa, after being crowned Prom Queen, heads to Donna's space to face her about why she hasn't boil down to accept her Prom Queen crown. Here she unfortunately walks in on Fenton and winds up being his next victim. As the evening progresses, Donna's good friends begin to vanish, leaving her questioning where everybody has actually gone.

Last Confrontation
Donna eventually discovers the reality when she discovers Fenton in her hotel space, alongside the bodies of her buddies. A nerve-wracking chase occurs, with Fenton pursuing Donna throughout the hotel.
