Riddick: Blindsided is a 2013 sci-fi short movie that was released as a movement comic prequel to the main feature film, Riddick (2013), the 3rd installation of the Chronicles of Riddick series. BioWare, an American computer game company, and David Twohy, the creator of Riddick, teamed up to create this prequel, with Twohy composing the script. Blindsided provides a connective link in between the Chronicles of Riddick (2004) and Riddick (2013) in regards to events, characters, and styles. Plot Overview

One of Riddick's commanders, Vaako, with whom he shares an uneasy alliance, offers him a chance to locate his house in exchange for stepping down as the ruler of the empire. Riddick accepts the proposition and leaves his post to board a Necromonger fleet to Furya.

Nevertheless, the fleet's destination is not really Furya, and Riddick quickly understands that he has been betrayed by Vaako and his guys. The Necromongers leave Riddick stranded and alone on a desolate, sun-scorched planet, which is filled with numerous fatal creatures.

Survival on the Hostile Planet
On this hostile world, Riddick is right away confronted by the dangers that abound in this unknown environment. In spite of being left for dead, Riddick does not admit defeat.
