Meanwhile, Ray and Emma set out to find Blake, saving a distressed couple amidst their journey. Meanwhile, Blake, Ben, and Ollie navigate through the catastrophe, displaying great survival impulses.
Then a scary tsunami hits San Francisco. Ray and Emma, again narrowly getting away death, make it to the city. Blake, Ben, and Ollie make it through the flooding however are now in a sinking building.
Act IV-- The Reunion: Ray and Emma eventually locate Blake's group as they signify for help using a laser guideline. A bold rescue objective ensues, where Ray almost drowns however is revived by Emma. Meanwhile, Ben conserves Blake, deepening their bond.
Conclusion: Ray, Emma, and Blake find themselves safe in the middle of the city's ruins. The family, much closer and braver after enduring the disaster, sees relief helicopters approaching the city. The film ends with the American flag unfurling symbolically over the ruined Golden Gate Bridge as life is about to begin once again after the catastrophe.
