Saw III (2006)

Introduction
"Saw III" is a 2006 scary motion picture, the 3rd installation in the Saw franchise, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and composed by Leigh Whannell. The film explores the vicious, carefully prepared video games of the notorious Jigsaw Killer in a lot more complicated and monstrous situations.

Main Plot
The central plot of "Saw III" focuses on 3 main characters: the crafty serial killer, John Kramer, referred to as Jigsaw (Tobin Bell); his apprentice Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith); and Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), a guy taken in by vengeance due to the death of his boy. Jigsaw, who is seriously ill with cancer, is having Amanda kidnap a surgeon, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh), to keep him alive enough time to witness his final, detailed game.

Jeff's Test
On the other hand, Jeff, whose kid was killed by a random chauffeur, is trapped in a psychopathic video game managed by Jigsaw. He must face a series of challenges related to the people involved in his kid's death case - the only witness who didn't affirm, the judge who offered a lax sentence, and the real intoxicated chauffeur. Jeff has the chance to either forgive these individuals or kill them. However the slow-burning rage and hurt inside him require him towards more deadly options.

Lynn's Tragedy
Dr. Lynn becomes a part of a heart-stopping game herself - actively connected to Jigsaw with a collar device connected to his heart-rate screen. If Jigsaw's heart rate drops too low or if he dies - Lynn passes away. Regardless of her attempts to keep him alive and win her freedom, Amanda's violent jealousy rises as she perceives an evident bond emerging in between Lynn and Jigsaw.

Twisted Endings & Revelations
In the last act, while Lynn successfully performs a surgery to extend Jigsaw's life, Jeff faces his last test - forgiving the remorseful man who killed his son. Driven by his inability to forgive, Jeff eliminates the chauffeur and in turn, degenerates into a violent confrontation with Amanda when he gets in Jigsaw's room. In a minute of discovery and catastrophe, Jigsaw notifies Amanda that her real test was to keep Lynn alive, but she fails when she shoots Lynn in rage.

Conclusion
"Saw III" concludes in the signature shocking ending of the franchise. In the final minutes, Jigsaw reveals to Jeff that Lynn was his wife, and retaliating for her, Jeff eliminates Jigsaw. As Jigsaw dies, Lynn's collar detonates - eliminating her quickly - and leaving Jeff caught mentally and physically in the torture space. "Saw III" handle more than just the gruesome traps; it thoroughly ventures into the darkness of vengeance, forgiveness, and the twisted morality of its characters - leaving the audience frightened and awestruck.
