Critical Reaction
"Stepfather 2" was adversely reviewed by many critics upon release, primarily due to the fact that it couldn't measure up to the expectation of the initial movie's chilling thriller and clever storytelling. However, Terry O'Quinn's performance as the eerily calm yet frightening stepfather, was widely appreciated.
