Film Introduction"Still Waiting.". is an American independent comedy film, directed by Jeff Balis and released in 2009. The movie is a sequel to the 2005 motion picture "Waiting.". and the cast features Adam Carolla, John Michael Higgins, Rob Benedict, and Luis Guzman to name a few. The plot revolves around the staff of Shenaniganz, an imaginary dining establishment, attempting to navigate their individual and expert lives.
Main PlotIn "Still Waiting ...", Dennis, played by John Michael Higgins, is the supervisor at Shenaniganz. He gets up on the worst day of his life - the 10th anniversary of the day he took the job as supervisor. Not only this, the dining establishment's personnel is disappointed with his management style, leading to internal strife. Additionally, the restaurant is in a precarious position of staying afloat as a new restaurant, 'Ta-Ta's Wing Shack', is seducing consumers with its scantily-clad waitstaff.
To add to Dennis's myriad of problems, his employer provides him a final notice: improve the restaurant's sales by the end of the day or be fired. This charges Dennis into action, and he comes up with a plan to advertise a boxing match between the cooks in Shenaniganz. However, the plan flops and everybody becomes demotivated, additional hindering the dining establishment's services.
Sub PlotsAnother employee, Allison, played by Alanna Ubach, is thinking about leaving the restaurant to pursue her dreams of ending up being a starlet, her departure from the job hangs in the balance throughout the film.
Also, there's the subplot of the restaurant's waitstaff developing a video game, a devalued version of what was introduced in the very first film, 'The Penis Showing Game,' where rivals attempt to trick others into looking at outrageous and improper stunts.
Furthermore, Nick, played by Andy Milonakis, and T-Dog, played by Max Kasch, are unhappy with the menu modifications, particularly the elimination of their beloved French french fries, leading to a series of eccentric antics.
