Whorfin is actually a mad researcher named Dr. Emilio Lizardo who got possessed by the leader of the Red Lectroids while attempting a comparable experiment in the 1930s. The Red Lectroids were gotten rid of to the 8th Dimension by the peace-loving Black Lectroids from Planet 10 and Whorfin/Lizardo aims to build an Overthruster to get back his associates.

Conflict and Resolution
Upon discovering Whorfin's intents, a race against time occurs. Buckaroo needs to stop Whorfin and the Red Lectroids from setting their comrades free and causing a galactic war with the Black Lectroids, who threaten to destroy Earth if Whorfin isn't stopped.
