Introduction
"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair" is a British television series directed by Alex Kirby, produced in 1990 and adjusted from C.S. Lewis's novel, 'The Silver Chair.' The story includes the characters Eustace Scrubb, Jill Pole, and Puddleglum in a thrilling adventure to save the lost prince of Narnia, Prince Rilian.

Plot
The story begins with Eustace Scrubb (David Thwaites) and his schoolmate Jill Pole (Camilla Power) getting away from bullies at their school, Experiment House. Eustace, who previously had an adventurer in Narnia, suggests they request for aid from Aslan, the lion-god of Narnia. Aslan (voiced by Ronald Pickup) appears and sends them to Narnia, inquiring to rescue King Caspian's son, Prince Rilian (Richard Henders), who vanished a decade earlier.

Characters
The duo finds themselves in Narnia where they meet Puddleglum (Tom Baker), a doom-and-gloom but kind-hearted marsh-wiggle who becomes their guide and coach. He helps Scrubb and Pole in understanding a set of signs provided to them by Aslan as hints to finding Prince Rilian. Jill's inability to bear in mind all the indications and the lack of faith Eustace reveals towards Aslan's assistance set barriers in their journey.

Mission to the Underland
While on their journey, Eustace, Jill, and Puddleglum are captured by giants and directly escape being eaten. They venture even more to the Underworld, where they experience the Lady of the Green Kirtle (Barbara Kellerman), a dubious witch holding Prince Rilian under a curse, causing him to forget who he is. The Prince is bewitched into thinking that he is the Lady's servant, providing manual work each night to dig her underground kingdom.

The Silver Chair
Each night, Prince Rilian is bound to a 'silver chair' where, for an hour, he regains his memory but turns into a violent, unmanageable person. The Lady of the Green Kirtle keeps that this state is his insanity, easily guaranteeing he is restrained every night. Nevertheless, during one such change, Rilian pleads with Eustace, Jill, and Puddleglum to release him rather than listen to the witch.

Confrontation and Resolution
The trio bravely breaks the captivated chair, breaking the witch's spell over Rilian. Upon going back to his real self, Rilian kills the witch who transforms into a lethal serpent. With the witch is defeated, the group escapes the collapsing Underland, and Rilian go back to Narnia as King, his father Caspian passing away upon seeing his boy back.
