The examination heightens when Mike's teenage daughter, Abby (Mae Whitman), is kidnapped, leading Mike to believe that the Factory Killer has struck again.

The film is centrally concentrated on Mike's desperate pursuit of the killer, wanting to find his child before it's far too late. Regardless of being purchased off the case due to his personal participation, Mike's decision is unwavering.
