The climax of the movie occurs when Shere Khan eliminates Akela to lure Mowgli out. Mowgli, recognizing he can't run from his problems, decides to deal with the tiger, equipped with a bucket of 'guy's-red-flower' (fire). In the confrontational climax, Mowgli, Shere Khan, and the rest of the jungle animals face-off. Mowgli manages to finest Shere Khan by outsmarting him and leading him to his death, hence restoring peace in the jungle.

Ending
