Plot Summary
"The Myth" follows the story of Jack Lee, played by Jackie Chan, an archaeologist afflicted by repeating dreams of his past life as Qin Emperor's (Qin Shi Huang) basic 'Meng Yi', succumbing to the emperor's Korean concubine, Ok-Soo, portrayed by Kim Hee-Sun.

Jack's regular headaches include a continuing story in which he is General Meng Yi in ancient China, battling opponents to conserve his precious Ok-Soo. He wakes each time just as he is about to lose her. These dreams, as cryptic as they may appear, lead him on a journey towards relic 'The Myth,' a magical gems that possesses the power to defy gravity.

'Beyond Belief,' an Indian researcher called Samantha (Mallika Sherawat), more drags Jack into the quest for the legendary 'floating stones' after discovering an ancient sword bearing the very same mineral discovered in the far-off Qin Dynasty's tomb in China. To even more prove, they find an ancient painting that portrays the legend of the emperor flying to paradise with the gems in hand that makes them dive deeper into exploring the reality of their dreamlike experience.

Unfolding Mystery & Adventure
Caught in the binds of his truth as a modern-day Archaeologist and previous life as a Qin general, Jack strives to discover the underlying truth. The motion picture seamlessly changes in between then and now, ancient China and today, adding to the layers of alternating intrigue and adrenaline-rushing action.

In the modern-day scenario, while on their trail to the ancient antique, Jack and Samantha deal with treacherous attempts to sabotage their mission and steal the floating gems by a greedy mobster, William. The duo gets caught in a cat and mouse chase that takes them from the coasts of Hong Kong to the surfaces of India.

Climax
The climax emerges in an engrossing style when Jack's dreams line up with reality as they infiltrate the ancient tomb where the 2 worlds collide. Jack finally locates Ok-Soo's casket, reviving his memories, which exposes a stunning fact. The restoration potion, which was actually a toxin, resulted in the emperor and his guys being petrified in their tomb. Ok-Soo was immured alive within the mausoleum as she was thought about the emperor's everlasting home.

Resolution & Ending
The resolution manifests when Jack manages to beat William and saves Samantha, lastly safeguarding the secret of the 'myth.'
