Hungry for adventure, Thor secretly embarks on the journey of a lifetime, joined by his loyal brother Loki, whose budding sorcery equips him with just enough magic to conjure up trouble, along with the Warriors Three - a band of boastful travelers reluctant to set sail on any adventure that might actually be dangerous. But what starts out as a harmless treasure hunt quickly turns deadly, and Thor must now prove himself worthy of the destiny he covets by saving Asgard itself.

Film Summary
"Thor: Tales of Asgard" is a 2011 direct-to-video animated film produced by Marvel Animation and dispersed by Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The film brings to life the early years of the God of Thunder's story, long before he ends up being the magnificent superhero we understand him as.

The Plot
The film begins with a more youthful, careless, and filled with pride Thor, who has yet to wield his iconic Mjolnir weapon. In spite of his daddy Odin's assistance, Thor yearns for experience and, in addition to his bro Loki, comes across the captivated sword of Surtur. Dispute and Resolution
The dispute begins with king Frost showing up with his army in Asgard, implicating Odin of taking their artefacts. Nevertheless, it was the naughty acts of Thor and Loki that caused the Warrior's Three and Thor to be stranded in Jotunheim, home of the frost giants. After a heated battle, the group handles to get away Jotunheim but leaves behind Loki, who is caught by the frost giant.
