Plot Overview
The movie begins with detective Ray Nettles (Tom Sizemore), a San Francisco police, still struggling to cope with the terrible loss of his family in a terrorist action. He is drawn into a dicey situation when a criminal mastermind Swan (Dennis Hopper), haunted by his past actions in Ireland, embarks on a deadly bombing project around the city.

Swan's primary target is revealed as a central city structure, a huge "ticker" bomb concealed in an undisclosed place. Nettles is tossed into this frantic bomb-disposal mission and to help him, the cops department selects an explosives professional, Frank Glass (Steven Seagal).

Experience and Suspense
Nettles and Glass need to chase down clues, trying to prevent Swan's deadly bombings while navigating the underworld web of suspects, that include deceitful government officials and hardened crooks. Amidst the flurry of car chases after, gunfights, and explosions, the duo races against time to uncover the place of the huge bomb before it ends up being too late.

As every second passes, the stress mounts, with Nettles and Glass required to challenge their past and determine who they can trust in their desperate efforts to foil Swan's damaging strategies.

The climax of the movie is a thrilling conflict between Nettles, Glass, and Swan, as the place and the reality of the bomb come to light. The movie ends in a remarkable ending, leaving the audiences on the edge of their seats, bringing forth the style of sacrifice for the higher good.

"Ticker" is a high-octane action film with a classic feline and mouse story, weaving in aspects of criminal offense, suspense, and individual tragedy. While it does not revolutionize the category, it holds viewers' interest with its constant pacing, interesting plot twists, and climactic surface.
