General Critique
Director Philip G. Atwell presents "War" fantastically against a background of vengeance, honour, and deceptiveness in the seedy underbelly of the crime world. Regardless of the film's heavy dependence on action scenes, the plot twists and turns are well orchestrated and keep audiences engaged. Jason Statham and Jet Li's indomitable performances escalate the fervor of the thriller. The perfect blend of thriller, drama, and action make "War" a must-watch for thriller and action film enthusiasts.
