Restless and ready for an adventure, four suburban bikers leave the safety of their subdivision and head out on the open road. But complications ensue when they cross paths with an intimidating band of New Mexico bikers known as the Del Fuegos.

Overview

Plot
Woody, Doug, Bobby, and Dudley are long-lasting buddies, all battling their personal stress and anxieties. Woody is experiencing a crisis due to a divorce and monetary ruin, Doug, a dental expert, is tired of his mundane life, Bobby is trying to be an effective writer while managing his out of work status and Dudley, a computer system programmer, is struggling with his love life. In an effort to escape their tedious presences and bring back the enjoyment of their pasts, Woody suggests a bike trip to California.

The so-called 'Wild Hogs;' who are typically mocked by local teenagers for their vanilla way of lives, head west towards the Pacific Coast. Their journey, initially planned as an enjoyable and liberating break from their rural regimens, quickly descends into a problem when the group experiences the notorious bicycle rider gang, the Del Fuegos, led by Jack (played by Ray Liotta).

Encounter with the Del Fuegos
The conference with Del Fuegos in New Mexico intensifies stress as the bullying bicycle riders take Dudley's bike, activating an open dispute. Woody, who reluctantly stumbles upon the gang's bar, sets it on fire and takes Dudley's bike back. While the foursome takes pleasure in the magnificences of their success, they are uninformed that the furious gang leader is routing them for vengeance.

The Adventure Continues
The Wild Hogs take sanctuary in the quiet town of Madrid, and amidst the newfound solace, Dudley satisfies and falls for the town's diner owner, Maggie (Marisa Tomei). They soon end up being regional heroes after saving the town's festival. Unbeknownst to them, their actions have additional irritated the Del Fuegos, who are getting ready for retaliation.

Climax
The climax centers around a face-off between Wild Hogs and the Del Fuegos. The confrontation leads to a surprise intervention by another bicycle rider gang, the real Wild Hogs. The initial Wild Hogs (cameos by Peter Fonda and Easy Rider) put an end to the fight and teach a valuable lesson to the Del Fuegos about real flexibility and brotherhood.

Conclusion
