Perseus tries to live a quieter life as a village fisherman while - dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion - the gods are losing control of the long-imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos.

Film Summary
"Wrath of the Titans" is a 2012 American action-adventure dream film directed by Jonathan Liebesman. It's the follow up to the 2010 film "Clash of the Titans" and it unfolds a gripping story influenced by Greek mythology. The story follows the life of Perseus, the demi-god and son of Zeus, who is played by Sam Worthington.

Main Plot
Perseus, who lives a tranquil life as a fisherman, is contacted by the gods when again to carry out an impossible mission to rescue his father, Zeus, from the underworld. The movie starts with Zeus trying to persuade Perseus to assist stop the gods' weakening power, which is putting the world at danger. When Perseus declines, Zeus' treacherous sibling Hades and child Ares, betray him, taking Zeus and locking him up in the underworld.

The Hero's Mission
With Titans' increased power affected by Hades and Ares, the survival of humankind hangs in the balance, compelling Perseus to step up. Along With Queen Andromeda and Poseidon's demigod kid, Agenor, Perseus embarks on an overwhelming objective to the underworld to defeat the titans, rescue Zeus, and conserve mankind. His journey is laden with huge barriers consisting of beastly animals and monstrous Titans.

Final Battle
Perseus, Andromeda, and Agenor manage to rescue Zeus from the underworld but Zeus is seriously injured. As the weakened Zeus uses his staying power to cure Perseus's injuries, Perseus continues to the end of the world against the traitors, Hades and Ares. In the climax, Perseus receives the Spear of Trium as magnificent help, with which he effectively kills the Titan Kronos and averts the failure of the world.

Character Transformation
Throughout his dangerous effective objective, Perseus embodies the bravery of a demi-god, overcoming his preliminary resistance to his heroic task. He discovers to welcome his magnificent lineage and leads humankind to redemption, thereby changing and accepting his fundamental heroism. By the end, it is clear that Perseus is no longer an easy angler.
