Introduction
"Phrazes for the Young" is the debut solo album from Julian Casablancas, lead singer of the American rock band The Strokes. Launched in 2009, the album explores new musical areas for Casablancas, moving beyond the garage rock noise that specified The Strokes and experimenting with electronic and orchestral components.
