"If you're a Conservative, why aren't you behind conserving the land?"

He is also suggesting that if someone is not acting to conserve the land, after that they are not really traditional. Kesey is challenging conservatives to take action and to meet their worths. He is suggesting that saving the land is a vital part of being a conservative.
