Money can supply access to experiences and opportunities that might bring happiness, however it can not guarantee that a person will enjoy. Likewise, money can not avoid someone from being unhappy. Even if an individual has all the money worldwide, they can still experience sadness, anxiety, and other unfavorable emotions. This quote acts as a reminder that money is not the only factor in determining one's emotion. Joy and misery originate from within, and cash can not purchase either.
