"My life's mission is to unmask the Jews"
- Julius Streicher
About this Quote
Julius Streicher was a German Nazi political leader and publisher of the anti-Semitic paper Der Stürmer. His quote "My life's objective is to unmask the Jews" shows his extreme anti-Semitic views and his desire to expose Jews as a threat to the German individuals. Streicher believed that Jews was accountable for a lot of the world's issues which they need to be eliminated from German society. He used his paper to spread his hateful views and to motivate violence versus Jews. Streicher's mission was to develop an environment of fear and hatred towards Jews, and to ultimately rid Germany of them. His views were so extreme that he was ultimately convicted of criminal activities against humanity at the Nuremberg Trials and carried out in 1946. Streicher's quote is a tip of the risks of uncontrolled hatred and bigotry, and the importance of standing up against it.
