This type of rhetoric was used by the Nazis to justify their actions throughout the Holocaust. It is a harmful and dehumanizing declaration that has no location in a civilized society. It is a tip of the scaries of the past and a caution of what can occur when hatred and bigotry are enabled to fester. It is a suggestion that we should always be vigilant in our battle versus bias and discrimination. We must always remember the lessons of the past and strive to develop a world where everybody is treated with regard and self-respect.
