- Roald Dahl
About this Quote
The writer had been working hard in his workroom for hours, and now he was feeling overwhelmed. He had been so concentrated on his work that he had misplaced time, and now he was feeling disoriented and exhausted. He wanted to take a break and clear his head, so he decided to go out for a drink. He required something to help him unwind and take his mind off of his work. He was so desperate for a beverage that he was nearly in a daze as he walked out of his workroom. He knew that a drink was the only thing that might help him relax and get back to his deal with a clear head.
