It requires diversifying beyond cocoa and raw exports into value-added industries, agro-processing, digital services, and regional logistics. It depends on reliable electricity, transparent regulation, fair taxation, and a justice system that protects contracts and human rights, attracting investment while broadening opportunity.

“United” recognizes the country’s history of political crisis and social fragmentation. Unity cannot be declared; it must be earned through equitable distribution of resources, inclusive citizenship, and recognition of regional and ethnic identities within a shared national narrative. Reconciliation, truth-telling, and fair access to public services counter past grievances. Education, national service, and cultural exchange strengthen a sense of belonging.

“Peaceful” is not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of justice. Credible elections, an independent judiciary, professional security forces, community policing, and active local mediation mechanisms prevent small disputes from escalating. Youth employment, women’s economic empowerment, and open media reduce the social pressures that fuel unrest.

The vision also has a regional dimension. Côte d’Ivoire’s stability contributes to, and benefits from, ECOWAS integration, cross-border trade, and joint security efforts. And it has an environmental dimension: sustainable cocoa, reforestation, and climate adaptation protect rural livelihoods and future growth.

Prosperity, unity, and peace reinforce one another. Working together aligns individual aspirations with the common good, turning national diversity into strength and translating hope into institutions, opportunities, and everyday security for all Ivorians.
