Donald Wills Douglas, Sr. was the founder of the company Douglas Aircraft Company. With this company he launched aircraft DC (Douglas Commercial DC-3, DC-9 ..) was a participant in the development of commercial aviation and performed to the late sixties aircraft for the Navy and USAF.

He was initially fascinated by ships and enlisted as these brothers Academic Naval Annapolis, Maryland, USA. He discovered the airplanes, and the opening of class aeronautical engineer at MIT he decided to participate in these courses.
