Jane D. Hull (birthed 1935) is an American politician that served as the 20th Governor of Arizona from 1997 to 2003. She was the first lady to work as Guv of Arizona as well as the 2nd female to function as Guv of any U.S. state.
Hull was born in 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended the University of Kansas, where she made a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1957. She after that participated in the University of Arizona, where she made a Master of Education level in 1962.
Hull started her political profession in the Arizona House of Representatives, where she served from 1979 to 1989. She was then chosen to the Arizona Senate, where she served from 1989 to 1996. In 1996, she was elected as the very first female Governor of Arizona.
